Huffing For Stuffing Thanksgiving Day Run

     Inaugural Running – November 22, 2007

     The event brought forth: 931 registered participants, 80 volunteers and 37 sponsors.

                                               $8,000 proceeds donated to the Gallatin Valley Food Bank.

                                               540 pounds of non-perishable food donations.

     Costumed turkey runner (Dan Nagel: 6’4”, 220#’s) ran the 5K in 21:30 !

     Only 18 runners of 674 (3%) Smoked the Turkey! We promise to slow him down!

     Oldest female participant: Molly Hayes, 74 years

 

     Youngest male participant: Robert Kwapisz, 8 years

     Oldest male participant: William Dunwiddie, 87 years

 

     Special recognition to Becky Speidel (Livingston, MT) for being the first

     person to register in the history of Huffing For Stuffing! 

     Becky ran the 10K in 46:47. Congratulations Becky!
